As a personal trainer my philosophy is to support you to go beyond your normal level of success. In the 22 years I’ve been training clients for optimal performance I’ve discovered specific tools for training the mind and the body that work for people of all ages and all fitness levels. From higher levels of fitness, to recovery from trauma, my clients find that they can achieve what they thought before what was not possible.
My clients range from successful executives who want to achieve the same success with their bodies as they do in their work to children developing coordination for a better sense of self; to athletes needing maximum competitive performance; and to clients recovering from traumatic injury or illness – Firmen Sowers.
Firmen creates a very individualized personal training program for each client. Each program begins with a complete strength assessment through FMS, Functional Movement Screen. Developed by physical therapists, the FMS is based on biomechanically sound principles and is a map that measures 7 fundamental body movements vital to proper training. A score of 0-21 gives you a clear beginning allowing us to map out a solid direction to achieve your aims.
